Today I am updating to let you guys know I am almost 6 years old in one more week! (40 years old cat life) I can't believe my life so far. My brofur Arnie died in December last year. I was really confused about it because I couldn't find him even though i could sniff him somewheres around the backyard. I miss him but i can't say it. I just don't know how. I've had a good life so far i'm lucky i havea nice backyard to relax in all day. I get along with every body here and every body likes me. I'm like a celebrity. My mom gave me a shower 2 weeks ago for the first time in over 8 months. I made the bath water gray with all the dirt. But now i shine and smell good, well, almost. I'm just going to put some pictures for you guy of me so far, 2018 style~!

Last night I became a believer.
I became a believer that my cat Toru... is really a paranormal cat. Let
me explain first what happened, then I can explain how it fits into my
whole picture of how something that i've observed as a theory for many
months now, i can finally confirm as a belief. Let me also include a short update on wonderful Toru since it's been awhile since i briefed you on here. And sorry i don't talk from the perspective of a cat anymore- that got very tiring and confusing inside my head.
Toru is now about 18 and a half months old! Which translate to about 20 in kitty years. He is a very sweet cat who likes to cuddle with his momma in the morning. He is out all night exploring the neighborhood but he always comes back around dawn to sleep next to be on my bed. He like the hang out in the backyard, or even the front yard. He is very cautious of other cats, he runs from them! Even from kittens! It's so pathetic but i suppose i'd rather him run from potential danger then charge it head on. Toru is very demanding when hungry. He cries for food and goes crazy when he hears the sound of a cat food lid pop open. He alternates between lovingly grooming his brother Arnie, and growling and kicking at his face. I believe Toru understands most of the things i say to him.
Which gets me to the point of this entry. Last night i had a dream with Toru in it. I was quietly roaming someone's front porch late at night and i noticed him laying in the bushes. When i saw him i called to him and gingerly pet him. Then i started picking off the dirt and leaves that were stuck on his tail. He has a very furry white tail that picks up everything like a broom. Then i noticed someone thick and black hanging in his tail. I started picking it out, and it was a dead flattened salamander! I was disgusted. At the same moment he jumped up and out of the bushes away from me, in real life he doesn't like me fussing with his tail either. As he made the quick motion away from me in my dream, i woke up!
When i woke up, I saw in the darkness at that exact same moment that Toru was sleeping by my head to my left and he had actually got up and jumped off the bed! In the process somehow knocking over a glass lamp on the night stand. It made a loud crash and broke into many pieces on the ground. Annoyed, I had to get up and pick up the pieces and properly dispose of them and sweep up the shards of glass. I didn't want to forget about it and cut my feet in the morning. I saw Toru he had run off and stopped and stared at me by the cat door. I know the sound of the crash scared him.
Anyways since this happened i am now a believer that me and my cat have a really close connection that goes beyond the waking world. I think he has the ability to follow me into my dreams. I don't think he knows he does it, he just does. We are connected in spirit. Which makes sense because he's known me since he was just a baby. And in real life, he's developed this habit of following me around everywhere. Therefore, i believe that when i go to bed at night, and he lays down and falls asleep next to me... his spirit kinda follows me into the astral realm. The same way that he follows me everywhere during the day. I also believe this because every time i see him during a dream, he is always doing something that he does exactly as in waking life... sniffing at some bushes, laying there looking at me curiously, walking around beside me exploring... very simple, but usual things that he does all the time. Sometimes i don't think he even realizes that he's dreaming. He just knows that I am there, and that he is in an unfamiliar place, but he is curiously exploring, but always staying right beside me. He is always relieved to see me.
I've had more than a handful of dreams of this sort in the past year and a half that i've had him. I think it's really cool, and i always revel at the paranormal realm and aspect of life. This makes me feel very happy actually, to know that i've established this level of connection with him. I've probably dreamt about Arnie a few times as well, but not with the frequency that i do of Toru. I believe that i was meant to find him and take care of him. It makes me very happy to know that he loves me and trusts me that much to follow me everywhere i go. He is a good cat.

So it's been the best 3 weeks. I love my new house. My territory is in mama's room. I have my own litterbox in there. I have my own cat dish and waterbowl, and lots of toys. There are 2 hoomans in this house, 1 is mama, the other is my auntie, so nice she is. I love that we have a catio so i can play in a screened in porch safe from other feral cats. I also love my new catmates. Remember I said there was 3 other females? It only took a week for them to accept me, 2 weeks for me to be able to roam the house freely without mama home, and this third week mama is proud to see me laying right next to Daisy in the living room! She was the scariest, biggest, meanest one, but now, they all love me. How can they not? I'm Toru! Ella is the most loving towards me of all the cats, she is always following me, checking up on me, and sometimez, reprimanding me for doing things im not suppose to do. Well, im just happy to get along in my new home. :)
