Mamuh finallehz came back furm hurz vacashunz!  I wuz so a hapehz!  It wasthe middle of the night and i was just a sleepinz when i heard someone come inisde and it was mama!  I was so excited i ran between her feets, yes shy at first, but right away i snuggled with mama in bed.  Then she feds me some fishy stuff and i just lays with her all night till morning.  I just couldnt believe it was true she came back!  I thought I wuld never see her again and she came back for me!  I keep thinkinz, "Is this real?  Am i dreaming?  Please never go away again."  I've been a happeh Toru.  I missed my mama so much!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So it's been the best 3 weeks.  I love my new house.  My territory is in mama's room.  I have my own litterbox in there.  I have my own cat dish and waterbowl, and lots of toys.  There are 2 hoomans in this house, 1 is mama, the other is my auntie, so nice she is.  I love that we have a catio so i can play in a screened in porch safe from other feral cats.  I also love my new catmates.  Remember I said there was 3 other females?  It only took a week for them to accept me, 2 weeks for me to be able to roam the house freely without mama home, and this third week mama is proud to see me laying right next to Daisy in the living room!  She was the scariest, biggest, meanest one, but now, they all love me.  How can they not?  I'm Toru!  Ella is the most loving towards me of all the cats, she is always following me, checking up on me, and sometimez, reprimanding me for doing things im not suppose to do.  Well, im just happy to get along in my new home.  :)

With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear (acoustic) - Sleeping With Sirens

I woke up today feeling very playful but my human was still a `sleepins!  I could not believe it, it was already 5 a.m.!  So I lays there and grooms mah self and licked my immaculately silky short fur.  So good, i am.  I have beautiful silky hair that belongs in a Pantene commercial.  I'd have to say that I lap at myself constantly, except for when I'm sleeping. If I get bored, I lick myself. If someone touches me and ruffles my fur, I lick myself. Licking is the solution. If I've just used the facilities, I lick myself again. I would compare it to a human who might eat potato chips out of boredom. It's hard to stop! Maybe I'm OCDC? Nah, just kidding!

Then I used my litter box.  I have the best manners, my human said so.  I felt a burst of energy so I did a mad dash around the room.  Jumpin!  Stalkin!  Pouncin!  Practicin my huntin skills!  Ok, maybe i do have ocdc, but i really do just have lots of energy sometimes!  I think I had enough so i kept tryin to wake my human.  Finally she woke up!  She served me my breakfast:  3 oz of fishy cod delight. Yum!  I love the wet stuff.  I believe I had the whole can.  Then I played with a gold chocolate coin pouch- what can i say- i love the cheap stuff!  I love the toys she bought me yesterday, but I am perfectly amused playing with a takeout lid or a paper bag from Trader Joe's.  I have also been known to chase my fluffy tail, and i loves to play fetch!

Also, I had some tense encounters with the other cat named Ella today.  There are 3 others like me, but they are all old!  And they're all GIRLS!  As if being the only male in a house full of women isn't enough!  Yuck!  I guess its my job to clarify myself as the Prince of this castle.   So ever since i've moved here into the master chamber with my human, i've been mindin` my own business in hurr room, but sometimes, i sees the other felines standing at the door, just starin at me!  Creepy much?  Yeah, they just stand there and stare!  Especially the Siamese one.  She definitely has a staring problem, geesh!  We had a tense encounter yesterday.  She hissed at me and i fluffed up on her and she ran away. 

Introductions, if you please.

Hi my name is Toru!

Do you like my name?  I sure do.  My human tried to call me Otto, but I refused it.  Clearly, I am an oriental kitty, and don't you forget it!  My full name is Otaru, but you can call me Toru for short!  It is a Japanese name usually given to a baby boy.  I was adopted from a litter of 5 kittens on the internets.  It read: 

"Kittens - 2 months old - ready for a nice home. Two black-one boy, one girl. Two black/white-both boys. They use the box and eat regular food. Very sweet and happy. Thank you." 

My human came to my home and first saw me while I was busy noisily munching on my dinner and I guess she fell in love!  And alas, she has loved me ever since.  I was sad to leave my mama cat, brothers, and sisters, and really scared on the way to my new home, but my human made me a promise to always take good care of me, and make sure that I live a happy life, and her soothing voice reassured me everything would be okay.  I was adopted on Friday the 13th, July 2012 at 3 months old, and weighing a whole 3 pounds.  They called me fatty because I was the biggest of my brothers and sisters!  I was I am furever grateful to my first family for all the tender love and care they gave me, and for loving me so much to entrust my life into the hands of a stranger... and for that, my little heart is just bursting with gratitude.  What kindness!  My world is already so full of blessings. Praise the Lord!  I thank you for opening up your heart to me humans!  I feel like that's why i'm here- to share my joy with you!  So here it is; the story of my life, all my escapades & the inner workings of my kitty mind- for all to enjoy...
